Remembrance Service - November 2017

On Sunday the 12th November,

Mr Francis and some members of the school council went to the Royal Garrison Church for Remembrance (Armistice) day to remember the soldiers who gave their life in World War I, World War II and the all of the Wars since that date.

At the start we got an introduction by Padre Steve and he also reserved us seats for school council which was very nice of him!

We sang a few hymns and saw a parade of WO2’S (Sargent Majors) of lots of different branches of the army holding their branch flags.

After we went outside and saw a parade of the different branches performing some of their standard drills.

It was a really nice thing to go to and for a very good reason!

And I’m sure Cameron, Ibrahim, Mia, Kamran, and George thought so too!
