Foundation Stage Rabbits

Tapestry

We have begun to label our Tapestry observations with initial letters that stand for the area of the EYFS that they demonstrate. I thought you would like to know what they stand for - 

The 7 areas of learning and development are:

  • communication and language. (CL)
  • personal, social and emotional development. (PSED)
  • physical development. (PD)
  • literacy. (L)
  • mathematics. (M)
  • understanding the world. (UtW)
  • expressive arts and design. (EAD)

We put most English and Mathematics into their actual books in school, so there will be less of these on Tapestry. I hope that is useful for you. laugh

Welcome to Tapestry. Your child will be coming home with a letter with your password and pin. Please read the documents below to find out more information and do come and talk to us if you need any further help.
