Foundation Stage Badgers

Welcome to Tapestry. Your child will bring home a letter with your password and pin, further information is in the documents here. Please have a read and ask us for any more information.

Tapestry

We have begun to label our Tapestry observations with initial letters that stand for the area of the EYFS that they demonstrate. I thought you would like to know what they stand for - 

The 7 areas of learning and development are:

  • communication and language. (CL)
  • personal, social and emotional development. (PSED)
  • physical development. (PD)
  • literacy. (L)
  • mathematics. (M)
  • understanding the world. (UtW)
  • expressive arts and design. (EAD)

We put most English and Mathematics into their actual books in school, so there will be less of these on Tapestry. I hope that is useful for you. laugh
